NLHCA of Nunavik - News and Events

NLHCA Training Sessions

Landholding Corporation (LHC) managers and staff from Nunavik Inuit communities are participating in two subsequent training sessions being held from May 7 to 11 in Quaqtaq and from May 14 to 18 in Inukjuak. The purpose of the training is for LHC managers and staff to learn how to use and operate the various web applications developed by Qaujimautik Systems on behalf of the NLHCA. The new NLHCA website and associated web applications allow LHCs to manage all Nunavik land leases, and pertinent LHC information using custom web and database applications consisting of a Content Management System (CMS), a Document Management System (DMS), various online databases with custom front-ends that manage LHC information (Board of Directors, LHC information, subsidiary companies, etc.), and a customized lease management database that utilizes a Web Map Service (WMS).
